Terms

Using just.diy means agreeing to this. We have tried to keep it short enough that you actually read it.
What this is
just.diy gives you tools to build, run and watch advertising in ad accounts that belong to you. We are not an agency. We do not manage your campaigns, and nobody here is reviewing them on your behalf unless you have separately paid for that.
Your account
You need to be 18 or over and, if you are signing up for a business, entitled to agree to this on its behalf. Keep your sign-in to yourself — anything done from your account is treated as done by you.
Your ad accounts stay yours
You own the ad account before you meet us and you own it afterwards. By connecting it you are giving us permission to create, change, start and stop campaigns in it through Meta’s and Google’s APIs. You can withdraw that permission whenever you like, in your own account settings on their side or ours.
On Google, connecting adds just.diy as a manager on the one Google Ads account you choose. It does not take over billing or ownership. Disconnecting removes the manager link.
Leave, and your campaigns keep running where they always were. Nothing gets taken down and nothing is held hostage.
What you pay
A monthly plan: $49, $99 or $149 a month, charged to your card on the day you start and the same day each month after. The plans differ only in how many tokens come with them each month. Upgrade and the new plan is charged that day; downgrade and it starts at your next renewal. Cancel any time and your plan runs to the end of the month you paid for, then stops. We don’t refund part months.
Tokens come with your plan, and you can buy more in packs. They don’t expire, and unused ones carry over. Once a token has been spent generating something, it is spent — whether or not you liked the result.
If a renewal doesn’t go through, your running ads keep running but you can’t launch anything new until it’s paid. We try the card once and don’t retry on our own.
A phone number, monthly, if you want one. Cancel it and it stops at the end of that month.
Your ad budget is not ours. Meta and Google charge your card directly for it. We never see that card and cannot charge it.
What you put in your ads
The words, pictures and claims in your ads are yours, including anything you generated here and chose to publish. You are responsible for them being true, legal and yours to use.
Political ads and ads about social issues or elections are not allowed on just.diy, on any platform. We stop them when we find them.
Meta and Google have their own rules, and they apply whatever we think. Some categories — housing, employment, credit — are restricted by them and strip most targeting. If a platform rejects, restricts or removes your ads, that is their call, not ours, and our fee does not come back.
Texting, specifically
If you text your leads through us, you are confirming that they agreed to be texted by you. Every message carries an opt-out, anyone who replies STOP is never texted again, and messages only go out during the hours we allow.
We will throttle, pause or shut off sending on an account that looks like it is about to get a phone number blocked, including yours. We would rather stop you for a day than watch a carrier take the number for good.
Some industries can’t send at all, because the carriers say so. If that’s yours, we’ll tell you rather than let you find out by being blocked.
What you can't do here
Anything illegal. Anything that breaks Meta’s or Google’s policies. Reselling access to the platform, scraping it, or pointing it at somebody else’s ad account without their permission.
Generated creative
Images and copy you generate here are yours to use. Check them before you publish — a model can put a wrong word or an odd hand in front of your customers, and the ad has your name on it, not ours.
We don't promise results
Nobody honest can promise what an ad will do. We give you the same tools the agencies use and get out of the way. The platform is provided as it is, and we do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or profitable.
If we do owe you something, what we owe is capped at what you paid us in the three months before it happened. We are not liable for lost profit, lost leads, or an ad account somebody else suspended.
Ending it
You can stop whenever you like — there is no contract, no minimum and no notice period. Stop spending and we stop charging.
We can suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, puts other customers’ phone numbers at risk, or does not pay. Except in the obvious cases, we’ll tell you first.
The legal bit
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, and any dispute belongs in the courts there. If one part of this turns out to be unenforceable, the rest still stands.
If we change these terms in a way that matters, we’ll email you before it takes effect.
